Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu, donated 500 million Naira to victims of the Maiduguri flood.
The flood wrecked 70% of the city and made millions of people homeless.
Seyi and his brother, friends, and associates donated on their own. They said they were in Maiduguri to sympathize with the victims.
Seyi stated that the Friday visit was the first step towards contributing to The Tinubu family and their friends donated N500 million to the victims of the Maiduguri flood. They wanted to help make the victims’ lives easier after the flood.

The Tinubu family and friends donated 500 million Naira to flood victims in Maiduguri. They aimed to assist the victims in regaining their footing.
He did, however, voice hope that the state will emerge stronger and that this too will pass.
He declared, “We are here today as members of a communal endeavor by young Nigerians to provide hope and relief to those who are most in need, not just as representatives of our family. It is time to show compassion, unity, and swift action.
Borno State and Maiduguri have a long history. People here are tough. They have persevered despite all the difficulties of the last several years, which is why the state deserves our prayers, support, and joint efforts in response to this terrible national disaster. It even more merits our active participation and assistance.
When my dad, President Bola Tinubu, was in Maiduguri earlier this week, he put out the call for the private sector and individuals to step up and help the communities hit by the flood. Inspired by his call, my wife Layal and I, through the Noella Foundation, my brother Yinka, our friends, and lots of private sector partners have joined forces to help those displaced by this tragedy.
The state also received 10,000 mosquito net pieces, blankets, beds, kettles, wrappers, buckets, mats, sanitary pads, and wash kits in addition to the N500 million donation.
Additionally, Seyi Tinubu supplied essential medical supplies to fill around 50,000 adult and children’s prescriptions. Antibiotics, analgesics, antihypertensives, antiparasitics, and anti-diabetics were among the supplies.
I appreciate all of your hard work and leadership at this difficult time. Additionally, I want to sincerely thank everyone who has been working nonstop to make sure that these goods get to the people who need them the most.
It is our joint duty, Your Excellency, esteemed leaders, and the tenacious people of Borno State, to support one another during difficult times. We have sent food, survival packs, and medical supplies as a show of support and kindness. We are aware that no amount of assistance can make up for the homes and lives lost as a result of this terrible catastrophe. Still, we hope that this meager contribution helps people in need feel better and feel relieved. We have the strength to rebuild and heal together because unity breeds strength. The young people of Nigeria stand side by side with the Borno people. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you since we are in this together. Nigerian Ports Authority donates N200m to Borno flood victims
The victims of the disastrous floods that recently devastated various towns in Borno State received a donation of N200 million from the Nigerian Ports Authority.
The NPA made this announcement in a statement on Saturday.
The three executives—Ibrahim Umar, the executive director of engineering and technical services; Vivian Edet, the executive director of finance and administration; and Olalekan Badmus, the executive director of marine and operations—presented the check to the governor of Borno State in Maiduguri on Friday on behalf of the NPA.
Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho, the NPA’s Managing Director, declared that the organization supports Borno State amid this tragic event that has caused enormous losses and disrupted lives and livelihoods.
“Under the direction of the Honorable Minister of Marine & Blue Economy, His Excellency Adegboyega Oyetola, the Nigerian Ports Authority hereby donates the sum of N200 million to aid efforts at stabilizing the victims as quickly as possible as a token of support for your disaster relief efforts,” Dantsoho stated.
