President Bola Tinubu has appointed Bianca Odinaka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, widow of late Biafran secessionist Odemegwu Ojukwu, as Minister of State Foreign Affairs.
This announcement was made following the Federal Executive Council meeting on Wednesday, as part of a broader cabinet reshuffle that saw seven new ministers appointed.

Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu has been appointed Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. She is a seasoned diplomat, lawyer, and businesswoman. She previously served as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Ghana and Spain.

Other appointments announced include Jumoke Oduwole as Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, alongside five additional ministers.
Tinubu Sacks 5 Ministers
President Bola Tinubu made significant changes to his cabinet on Wednesday. He dismissed five ministers, including Uju Kennedy-Ohaneye, the former Minister of Women Affairs, and Professor Tahir Mamman, who held the Education portfolio. The reasons for the dismissals are not yet known.
Others are Lola Ade-John (Minister of Tourism), Jamila Bio Ibrahim (Minister of Youth Development), and Abdullahi Muhammad Gwarzo (Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development).

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has announced the dissolution of the Niger Delta Ministry and the Ministry of Sports Development.
